The Space Needle is one of the most recognizable landmarks in the world and is a treasured Seattle icon. Built for the 1962 World’s Fair—the Century 21 Exposition whose theme was “The Age of Space”—the tower’s futuristic design was inspired by the idea that the fair needed a structure to symbolize humanity’s Space Age aspirations. Since its grand opening on April 21, 1962, the landmark continues to symbolize the innovative and forward-thinking spirit of Seattle. Located at Seattle Center, the Space Needle stands at 605’ tall and is one of the most photographed structures in the world.

The sky’s the limit, kids. 🚀 for anyone new to my feed, you probably don’t know that I didn’t actually start traveling frequently until three years ago. My first time out of the country was actually at age 22! 🙀 Growing up 1st generation Chinese the objectives were always: school, job, financial investment...I’d say I’ve followed that path loosely haha, I invest my resources in travel, as it’s become my preferred source of creative inspiration. Honestly, a few years in and I’m still learning a lot as I go! Just a few months ago I had to Google “how to get a visa” because I just had no frame of reference on how to go about that. Lol. So if I, armed with limited experience, can learn to travel well, be encouraged that you can too. ☺️ . . My advice to anyone who wants to see the world is to attach dates to their dream destinations and actively stop saying “someday” 🌎🌍🌏 May the thrill of sunsets over strange oceans and discovery of foreign landmarks never go away for you.
